with labels and needed to have this resent twice from adiamor) because my wife was not satisfied with the clarity and size of the diamond, which did not meet her expectations. The ring was received by your team on 1/22/25, and I was emailed on 1/28/25, confirming its receipt and inspection. On 1/29/25, I received an email stating that my refund had been processed and that I should expect the funds within 10 business days.
As of today, 2/7/25, I have not received the refund. Upon inquiring about the delay, I was informed that the refund is now being withheld because the ring “did not pass inspection for return” due to alleged “signs of wear,” I was also told that the ring has been in the process of being photographed for a visual inspection report, and I should expect an update by next Tuesday. This is completely unacceptable for the following reasons:
1. No Prior Communication of Inspection Failure:
- I was initially told that my return was accepted, inspected, and the refund was processed. If there were any issues with the ring, why was I not informed at that time?
- Had I not followed up, I would have never known that my refund was being withheld.
2. Inconsistent and Misleading Process:
- My wife only tried on the ring briefly to compare it with others in terms of size and clarity. It was never worn beyond that.
- I am fully confident that there were no signs of wear on the ring at the time of return.
- I have documentation confirming that my refund was initially approved, which further proves that your process is inconsistent.
3. Past Issues with Adiamor’s Service:
- Prior to even receiving the ring, I faced issues with my original order. I was notified days after purchasing that the selected diamond was no longer available, which delayed this process weeks.
- After selecting a new diamond, I was later told that the original diamond was actually in processing, creating confusion and unnecessary delays.
- I have proof of all communications demonstrating these inconsistencies in Adiamor’s handling of my order.
At this point please immediately release of my refund as originally promised.
Failure to resolve this matter promptly will leave me with no choice but to pursue legal action and escalate this dispute further. I value integrity and professionalism, and based on my experience, Adiamor has demonstrated neither. It is about the principle.
