When planning a wedding, there are a ton of things to figure out. One of the most important aspects, though, is choosing the right wedding venue. Whether you are planning a wedding locally or a destination wedding will have a major impact on your guest list, budget, and possibly your wedding date. One of the biggest aspects in choosing the right venue is making sure your locale can handle your guest list. Different venues will have different capacities and different amenities based on the size of the crowd, so be sure to have a solid idea of your guest list. Venues that can handle larger crowds also tend to have more on site options for onsite catering and drinks if you plan to do the ceremony and reception in the same location. They may also include decorations and seating arrangements as part of their wedding packages. Regardless as to whether or not your wedding is a destination or local ceremony, you must be sure to visit the venue. While the internet is a great tool for researching everything from bridal gifts<\/a> to DJs, the only way to truly know if the venue is right is to visit. When you do visit, be sure to ask questions such as “How many weddings have you done before?” and “How does your venue handle deposits and payments?” In the case of outdoor venues, make sure to ask about their Plan B for inclement weather. Finally, be sure to take plenty of pictures when you visit. Not only will they help you decide on a venue, these first hand photos will help you plan decorations, floral arrangements, and may even help you decide on wedding colors.<\/p>\n
